Gram Rozgar Sahayak:

Selection Process:
The candidates whose applications are accepted will be required to appear in a written Examination which will be conducted in the various selected centres in the state. The Commissioner, P&RD, will intimate the name of the centre in the Admission Certificate of the Written Examination. There will be two written examinations -I for the posts of Gaon Panchayat Coordinator/Computer Assistant/ Gram Rojgar Sahayak and Paper-2 for the post of Accredited Engineer. A candidate may apply separately for the written examinations for Paper-1 and Paper-2, provided that he or she fulfils the eligibility criteria. Candidates are required to submit their preference for the posts of Gaon Panchayat Coordinator, Computer Assistant, or Gram Rojgar Sahayak for selection under the Paper-1 Examination.
As per the permanent address, the examination centre will be provided.
The written test will be of 75 marks and will be completely OMR-based. There will be 75 questions, and each question will be worth 1 (one) mark. There is negative marking, of 0.25 mark per question carrying 1 mark each and of 0.5 mark per question carrying 2 marks each, for wrong answer as well as for selecting more than one option of a question. The questions will be set in five parts: (i) Domain Knowledge, (ii) Computer proficiency, (iii) Logical reasoning, aptitude, comprehension, (iv) History and Culture of Assam and India and (v) General Knowledge. In addition to the post of Accredited Engineer, there will be questions relating to technical knowledge as per the qualification. Candidates will use a black ball pen to answer the OMR-based answer sheet. The duration of the test will be 2(two) hours.
There will be a Viva of 25 Marks for candidates who are qualified in the written examination.
Based on the performance of the candidates in the written Examination, a merit list will be prepared category-wise for each post/position. The short-listed candidates may have to appear for a viva. The total number of finally selected candidates will be equal to the number of existing vacancies advertised.
There will be only ONE merit list for each category, i.e. Unreserved/SC/ST(P) /ST(H)/OBC&MOBC.
There shall be a waiting list based on merit list which shall be valid for one year from the date of publication of the result.
