Qualification:
Specialist Grade III (Anaesthesiology):
- A recognized MBBS degree qualification is included in the First Schedule Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
- Post-graduate Degree/Diploma in the concerned specialty or super specialty mentioned in Section A or Section B in Schedule VI or equivalent i.e. M.D.(Anaesthesiology)/ M.S.(Anaesthesiology)/ Diploma in Anaesthesiology (D.A.).
Specialist Grade III (Biochemistry):
- A recognized MBBS degree qualification is included in the First Schedule Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
- Post-Graduate Degree as mentioned in section A in Schedule VI i.e. M.D.(Bio-Chemistry)/ M.Sc.( Medical BioChemistry)/Ph.D.( Bio-Chemistry)/ D.Sc.( Bio-Chemistry).
Specialist Grade III (Forensic Medicine):

Microbiology)/ M.Sc.( Med. Microbiology) with D.Sc.( Med. Microbiology)/ D(Bact.)/ Diploma in Pathology & Bacteriology(DPB).
Specialist Grade III (Pathology):
- A recognized MBBS degree qualification is included in the First Schedule Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
- Postgraduate degree/Diploma in the concerned specialty or super specialty mentioned in Section A or Section B in Schedule VI or equivalent i.e. M.D.(Pathology)/ Ph.D.( Pathology)/ D.Sc.(Pathology)/Diploma in Clinical Pathology(DCP) /Diploma in Pathology & Bacteriology(DPB).
Specialist Grade III (Plastic Surgery & Reconstructive Surgery):
- A recognized MBBS degree qualification is included in the First Schedule Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
- Post-graduate degree in the concerned specialty or super specialty mentioned in Section A in Schedule VI or equivalent i.e. M.Ch.(Plastic Surgery)/ M.Ch.(Plastic & Constructive Surgery.
Age Limit:
- Maximum age limit 50 years
- Age relaxable as per govt. rules.
