Directorate of Archaeology Recruitment 2021, Application are invited for 16 LDA, Foreman & Others Vacancy in Directorate of Archaeology, Assam.

Name Of Posts Directorate of Archaeology Recruitment 2021:

1. LDA (H.Q. Level) (Gr. III)
   No Of Posts: 02 nos

Qualification:

• The candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University or any examination declared equivalent by the Government.
• Moreover, the candidate must possess minimum 6 (six) months computer certificate with skills for handling data and text along with English and Assamese typing on the computer

Salary: Rs. 14000-60500/- + GP Rs.6200/- Pay Band 2-PM Plus other allowances as per rules of the Govt. of Assam.

2. LDA (District Level) (Gr. III)
   No Of Posts: 02 nos

Qualification:

• The candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University or any examination declared equivalent by the Government.
• Moreover, the candidate must possess minimum 6 (six) months computer certificate with skills for handling data and text along with English and Assamese typing on computer.

Salary: Rs. 14000-60500/- + GP Rs.6200/- Pay Band 2-PM Plus other allowances as per rules of the Govt. of Assam.

3. Foreman (Gr. III)
   No Of Posts: 03 nos

Qualification: The candidate must have passed HS or equivalent examination in any discipline from any recognized Board/ Council etc.

Salary: Rs. 14000-60500/- + GP Rs. 5600/- Pay Band 2-PM Plus other allowances as per rules of the Govt. of Assam.

4. Planning Assistant (Gr. III)
   No Of Posts: 01 nos

Qualification:

• The candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University or any examination declared equivalent by the Government.
• Moreover, the candidate must possess minimum 6 (six) months computer certificate with skills for handling data and text along with English and Assamese typing on computer.

Salary: Rs. 14000-60500/- + GP Rs. 7600/- Pay Band 2-PM Plus other allowances as per rules of the Govt. of Assam.

5. Draftsman (Gr. III)
   No Of Posts: 01 nos

Qualification:

• The candidate must have passed HSLC or equivalent examination from any recognized Board/ Council etc.
• The candidate should also have 1 (one) year valid certificate in draftsmanship in the survey from Govt. recognized institute

Salary: Rs. 14000-60500/- + GP Rs. 6800/- Pay Band 2-PM Plus other allowances as per rules of the Govt. of Assam.

6. Driver (Gr. III)
   No Of Posts: 02 nos

Qualification: The candidate must have passed HSLC or equivalent examination from any recognized Board/ Council etc. with a valid Driving License.

Salary: Rs. 14000-60500/- + GP Rs. 5200/- Pay Band 2-PM Plus other allowances as per rules of the Govt. of Assam.

7. Monument Attendant (Gr. IV
   No Of Posts: 02 nos

Qualification: Minimum Class VIII passed.

Salary: Rs. 14000-60500/- + GP Rs. 3900/- Pay Band 2-PM Plus other allowances as per rules of the Govt. of Assam.

8. Peon (Gr. IV)
   No Of Posts: 01 nos

Qualification: Minimum Class VIII passed.

Salary: Rs. 14000-60500/- + GP Rs. 3900/- Pay Band 2-PM Plus other allowances as per rules of the Govt. of Assam.

9. Chowkidar at Zona Office, Hojai (Gr. IV)
   No Of Posts: 01 nos

Qualification: Minimum Class VIII passed.

Salary: Rs. 14000-60500/- + GP Rs. 3900/- Pay Band 2-PM Plus other allowances as per rules of the Govt. of Assam.

10. Handyman (Gr. IV)
    No Of Posts: 01 nos

Qualification: Minimum Class VIII passed.

Salary: Rs. 14000-60500/- + GP Rs. 3900/- Pay Band 2-PM Plus other allowances as per rules of the Govt. of Assam.

Age Limit Directorate of Archaeology Recruitment 2021:

Candidate should not be more than 40 years and less than 18 years of age as of 1st January 2020 (Candidate must be born on or before 01.01.2002 and on or after 01-01-1980).

Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable as under:
i) 05 (five) years in case of candidates belonging to SC, ST (P) & ST (H).
ii) 03 (three) years in case of candidates belonging to OBC/MOBC.
iii) 2 years for Ex-servicemen candidates.
iv) 10 years for PwD candidates.

• The candidates should submit their application in the Assam Standard Form only.
• Required Testimonials to be attached with the application and to be self-attested: Applicants should submit their applications along with photocopies of all testimonials duly self-attested regarding qualifications, age, caste certificate (in case of reserved category), employment exchange registration card, etc
• Two copies of the recent passport size photograph of the candidate duly self-attested are to be submitted.
• One self-addressed envelope of 10’X4.5′ affixing postal stamp of Rs. 5/- must be enclosed with the application.
• The name of the post applied for should be clearly written in “bold letters” in the Envelope containing the application form and it should be addressed to the Director, Directorate of Archaeology, Assam, Ambari, Guwahati-01.
