DC Nagaon Recruitment 2025 – Apply For 68 Gaon Pradhan Posts
The DC Nagaon Recruitment 2025 offers 68 vacancies for Gaon Pradhan posts under the District Commissioner Nagaon. Interested candidates can apply offline from December 06, 2025, to December 30, 2025, at the DC Nagaonwebsite (nagaon.assam.gov.in).
Applicants should be citizens of India and permanent residents of the village or villages of the village headquarters for recruitment.
Applicants should be not less than 30 years of age and below 65 years of age as on 01-12-2025 and should have passed High School Leaving Certificate Examination (HSLC) or equivalent from a recognised Board/Institution of the Government of Assam.
The applicant should not have more than 2 (two) living children. (This condition is subject to Government Notification no
RLR 187/2007/Part/24, dated 19-07-2019, shall not apply to parents before it enters into force.
The applicant shall submit an affidavit with the application stating that he has no more than 2 (two) living children.
Applicants should be physically fit and of sound mind.
Applicants should not be financially bankrupt and in debt to any government funds.
Candidates from village head families will be given priority in recruitment, and the opinion of the Mouzadar will be considered in this regard.
Applicants cannot be government employees.
The applicant should have land/immovable property in his/her name in the area where he/she wishes to be appointed as Gaon Pradhan.
Applicants cannot be members of any political party.
Applicants must have voluntarily cooperated in the implementation of government policies and programs, and during natural disasters.
Applicants should be skilled and respectable persons of high standing in society.

How to Apply:
Interested applicants should apply as per the STANDARD FORM OF APPLICATION, and photocopies of certificates must be submitted with the application form.
A certificate of educational qualifications should be submitted.
Proof of age, Birth Certificate/HSLC Admit Card or Pass Certificate should be submitted.
The applicant must correctly mention the Lat No. and the name of the village in which the applicant is applying.
A certificate of land in your name must be submitted.
A certificate of social work experience is required.
Applicants from village-headed families are required to submit a certificate of opinion from the Mouzadar.
The rest must submit a debt-free certificate.
Applicants are required to submit 2 (two) copies (Recent Passport size) of their photographs.
The applicant shall submit an affidavit of not had more than 2 (two) children.
