Samagra Shiksha Darrang Recruitment 2026: Samagra Shiksha, Darrang has invited applications from eligible female candidates for the engagement of Full-Time Assistant Teacher posts in Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV) Type-III. Educational Qualification

• Full-Time Assistant Teacher (Science)

Essential Qualification

• Master’s Degree in Mathematics / Physics / Chemistry / Zoology / Botany / Computer Science
• Mathematics must have been studied as a subject at the graduate level.
• B.Ed. from a recognized University.
• Higher Secondary TET qualified.

If HS TET Qualified Candidates Are Not Available

Candidates having:

• Master’s Degree in the above-mentioned subjects
• B.Ed. from a recognized University

May also apply.

Preference

Experience in teaching at UP/HS/HSS level.

• Full-Time Assistant Teacher (Political Science)

Essential Qualification

• Master’s Degree in Political Science
• B.Ed. from a recognized University
• Higher Secondary TET qualified

If HS TET Qualified Candidates Are Not Available

Candidates having:

• Master’s Degree in Political Science
• B.Ed. from a recognized University

Salary

Age Limit

• Maximum Age: Below 45 years
• Age will be calculated as of 01 January 2026.

Age Relaxation

Upper age relaxation is applicable as per the Government of Assam rules.

• OBC – 5 Years
• PH – 5 Years

Reservation

• All posts are reserved for Assamese Medium candidates.
• Only female candidates are eligible to apply.

Important Conditions

• The appointment is purely contractual for 11 months.
• Selected candidates must stay on the school/hostel campus, except during vacations.
• One candidate can apply for only one post.
• Existing Full-Time Assistant Teachers working in KGBVs need not apply.
• Non-TET selected candidates must qualify for the Higher Secondary TET within three consecutive TET examinations.
• The engagement does not confer any right to permanent Government employment.

Selection Process

Selection will be based on:

3. Personal Interview

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
