IOCL Digboi Refinery Apprentice Recruitment 2026: Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Digboi Refinery, has released the official notification for the engagement of 126 Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961/1973. Eligible candidates can apply online through the NAPS/NATS portal from 8 July 2026 to 31 July 2026. Candidates with qualifications such as 12th Pass, ITI, Diploma, B.Sc., B.Com., and B.A. can apply for various apprentice trades.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must possess the required qualification as of 30 June 2026.

Trade-wise Qualification

• Attendant Operator (Chemical Plant): B.Sc. with Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry/Industrial Chemistry
• Fitter: Matric + ITI Fitter (Minimum 2 Years)
• Boiler: B.Sc. with Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry/Industrial Chemistry
• Chemical Technician: Diploma in Chemical/Petrochemical Engineering
• Mechanical Technician: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Electrical Technician: Diploma in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering
• Instrumentation Technician: Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering
• Secretarial Assistant: B.A./B.Sc./B.Com
• Accountant: B.Com
• Data Entry Operator (Fresher): 12th Pass
• Data Entry Operator (Skill Certificate): 12th Pass + Domestic Data Entry Operator Skill Certificate

Minimum Marks

• General/OBC/EWS: 50%
• SC/ST/PwBD: 45%

Age Limit:

As of 30 June 2026

• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age: 24 Years

Age relaxation:

• SC/ST: 5 Years
• OBC (NCL): 3 Years
• PwBD: 10 Years (additional relaxation as per Government rules)

Training Period:

Training duration ranges from 12 months to 24 months, depending on the apprentice trade.

Stipend:

Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend as per the Apprentices Act, 1961/1973 and IOCL guidelines.

Selection Process:

There will be No Written Examination.

Selection will be based on:

1. Merit list prepared on qualifying examination marks
2. Document Verification
3. Medical Examination

In case of equal marks, preference will be given to the older candidate.

Step 1: Check Your Eligibility

Before applying, ensure that you:

• Meet the educational qualifications for your chosen trade.
• Are between 18 and 24 years of age (as on 30 June 2026).
• Have the required percentage of marks.
• Have not completed more than 5 years after obtaining your qualifying certificate.

Step 2: Register on the NAPS or NATS Portal

Choose the portal based on the postcode:

Register on NAPS (for Post Codes 101, 102, 103, 108, 109, 110 & 111)

Register on NATS (for Post Codes 104, 105, 106 & 107)

• NATS Portal

After registration, apply for the apprenticeship opportunity under IOCL AOD Digboi Refinery using the correct establishment ID.

Step 3: Visit the IOCL Website

Navigate to:

Read the notification and click on “Register/Apply on NAPS/NATS”.

Step 4: Fill the Mandatory Microsoft Form:

After applying through NAPS/NATS, you must fill in the additional Microsoft Form provided in the notification.

This is compulsory. Applications will be rejected if you complete only the NAPS/NATS registration without submitting the Microsoft Form.

Step 5: Verify Your Details:

Before submitting:

• Ensure your name, date of birth, qualification, category, email ID, and mobile number match exactly in both the NAPS/NATS portal and the Microsoft Form.
• Submit only one Microsoft Form response.
