Qualifications for Assam Police Recruitment 2023:
Sub Inspector (AB/UB):
- The Candidate must be a graduate in Arts/Science/Commerce or an equivalent stream from a recognized College / Institution affiliated with a recognized University.
Sub Inspector (Communication) APRO:
- B.Sc. (Electronics Science/ IT/ Computer Science) (10+2+3 duration) or
- 3-year Diploma from State Polytechnic in Electronics and Tele Communication, or
- Electronics or Information Technology, Instrumentation or Computer Engineering or
- Computer Science or equivalent with 2 years of work experience in the field of Electronics, Telecom, IT, or allied environment. or
- 3-year Diploma from State Polytechnic in Electronics and Tele Communication, or
- Electronics or Information Technology, Instrumentation or Computer Engineering or
- Computer Science or equivalent and 2 years additional course/courses in Telecommunication /IT /Computer Science/ Computer Engineering or equivalent. or
- Master of Computer Application (MCA) or
- B.E./ B. Tech. in E & TC or Computer or Instrumentation or IT or equivalent qualification in the same discipline.
Constable (UB):
- H.S. or Class XII passed from the Govt. recognized Board.
Constable (AB):
- H.S.L.C or Class-X passed from the Govt. recognized Board.
Constable for Assam Commando Battalions:
- HSLC or Equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council.
Constable of Police (Communication) in APRO:
- H.S. (Science) passed with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) from a recognized Board or Council. The Candidates must have obtained passing marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) in the H.S. (Science) examination to apply for the post.
Constable (Dispatch Rider):
- HSLC or equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council and must possess a valid driving license for LMV MMV or HMV.
Constable (Messenger) in APRO:
- HSLC or equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council and must possess a valid driving license for LMV, MMV, or HMV.
Constable (Carpenter) in APRO:
- HSLC or equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council and passed prescribed ITI course in trade.
Assistant Deputy Controller, Civil Defence (Jr.):
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Arts, Science, or Commerce from a university recognized by the Govt.
- Pass Certificate of Instructor Course from National Civil Defence College, Nagpur/NDRF Academy, Nagpur) and
- Pass Certificate of Elementary Fire Service Training or any other advanced Civil Defence Course from National Civil Defence College, Nagpur, or any other institute recognized by the Govt. of India.
Civil Defence Demonstrator / Wireless Operator:
- Minimum HSLC Passed from a Board recognized by the Govt.
- Pass Certificate of Instructor Course from National Civil Defence College, Nagpur/NDRF Academy, Nagpur) and
- Pass Certificate of Elementary Fire Service Training or any other advanced Civil Defence Course from National Civil Defence College, Nagpur, or any other institute recognized by the Govt. of India.
Havildar:
- H.S.L.C or equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council.
- Minimum NCC ‘B’ Certificate.
Nurse:
- Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) from a Govt. Medical College.
Laboratory Technician:
- Passed Laboratory Technician Course from Medical College.
Teacher:
- HSSLC Passed &
- Jr. Basic Training Certificate.
Craft Instructor:
- HSLC Passed
- Certificate in Bamboo and cane work /Tailoring/Weaving/Soap making from ITI or another recognized Institute.
Tractor Operator:
- HSLC Passed
- Tractor Driving License.
Driver Constable:
- HSLC or equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council and must possess a valid driving license for LMV, MMV, or HMV.
Boatman:
- Passed HSLC or equivalent examination under any Govt. recognized board.
- Proficiency in swimming
- Higher Educational Qualifications
- Proficiency in Sports
- Proficiency in Martial arts
- Experience of serving as Home Guard
- Possession of a Lifeguard Training Certificate
- Having undergone Crew Training Course at Govt. of Assam Inland Water Transport Crew Training Centre or other Govt. recognized institute.
Cook (SDRF):
- Read up to Class VI from a recognized School or Institution and the maximum qualification will be HSSLC or Class XII passed from a recognized Board or Council.
Grade IV Staff:
- Minimum Class VIII passed from a recognized School or Institution and the maximum qualification will be HSSLC or Class XII passed from a recognized Board or Council.
Safai Karmachari:
- Minimum Class VI passed from a recognized School or Institution and the maximum qualification will be HSSLC or Class XII passed from a recognized Board or Council.
- Training Certificate issued by the Sector Skill Council (SSC) will carry 5 marks. or
- Minimum 01 (one) year work experience Certificate from registered NGO/Municipality Board / Govt. Departments will carry 5 marks. The registered NGO’s registration Number must be reflected in the Certificate.
