Eligibility Criteria:

Qualification & Experience:

• Forester Grade-I:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from recognized University or equivalent.
• Sub Officer & Constable (WO/WT):
  • H.S. (Science) passed with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) from a recognized Board or Council. The Candidates must have obtained pass marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) in H.S. (Science) examination to apply for these posts.
• Fireman & Emergency Rescuer:
  • H.S. (Science) passed from a recognized Board or Council.
• Forest Guard, Game Watcher & Constable (UB) in APRO:
  • H.S. (10+2) or equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council.
• AFPF Constable, Constable (Grade-III), Bandman (Constable) & Bugler:
  • HSLC or equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council.
  • Mandatory Qualification for Constable (Grade-III), Bandman (Constable) & Bugler (for Applicants except Ex-Servicemen):
    • Home Guard Certificate or Minimum NCC „A‟ Certificate.
    • Bandman (Constable), Proficiency in specific instrument [i.e. playing Bagpipes (great Highland bagpipes), Snare Drums, Tenor Drums and Bass Drum, etc.]
    • Bugler, Proficiency in a specific instrument [i.e. playing Bugle]
• Boatman:
  • Essential:
    • Passed HSLC or equivalent examination under any Government-recognised board.
    • Proficiency in swimming
  • Preferable:
    • Higher Educational qualifications
    • Proficiency in Sports
    • Proficiency in Martial arts
    • Experience of serving as Home Guard
    • Possession of Lifeguard Training Certificate
    • Having undergone Crew Training Course at the Govt. of Assam Inland Water Transport Crew Training Centre or other Govt. recognized institute
• Jail Warder:
  • HSLC or equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council.
• Cook:
  • Training Certificate issued by the Sector Skill Council (SSC) will carry 5 marks. or
  • A minimum of 1 (one) year of working experience, a Certificate from a recognised or registered Cooking Institution, or a Hotel will carry 5 marks. Registered Cooking Institute/Hotel registration number must be reflected in the Certificate.
• Barber:
  • Training Certificate issued by the Sector Skill Council (SSC) will carry 5 marks. or
  • Minimum 01 (one) year experience, Certificate from a registered Saloon/Beauty Parlour will carry 5 marks. Registered Saloon /Parlour registration Number must be reflected in the Certificate.
• Water Carrier:
  • Training Certificate issued by the Sector Skill Council (SSC) will carry 5 marks.
• Dhobi:
  • Training Certificate issued by Sector Skill Council (SSC) will carry 5 marks. or
  • Minimum 01 (one) year experience Certificate from a registered Laundry /Dry Cleaner will carry 5 marks. Registered Laundry/Dry Cleaner registration Number must be reflected in the Certificate.
• Cobbler:
  • Training Certificate issued by the Sector Skill Council (SSC) will carry 5 marks. or
  • Two years’ experience in leather work such as preparation of shoes from Central/State Government Institution.
• Multitasking & Maintenance Staff- I (Technical):
  • Minimum Class VIII passed from a recognized School or Institution and maximum qualification will be HSSLC or Class XII passed from recognized Board or Council.
• Plumber:
  • Minimum one-year Certificate course from a recognized Industrial Training Institution/Vocational Institute will carry 5 marks
• Tailor:
  • H.S.L.C or Class-X passed from Govt. recognized Board or Council.
  • Diploma of Tailoring from the Institute recognized by Govt. of Assam.
  • Trade skill including the ability to operate both automatic and manual (foot/hand-driven) sewing machines. Knowledge on fabric and human body shape, sewing equipments etc.
• Dresser:
  • H.S.L.C or Class-X passed from Govt. recognized Board or Council.
  • 02 (two) years’ experience certificate on Dresser (Medical) work from a Govt. recognized Institute.
  • Trade skill including knowledge on contamination, sterilization and disinfection of instruments, preparation of chlorine solution, antiseptic & aseptic condition, procedure of decontamination, Cleaning & Bandaging wounds and other affected body parts
• Nurse:
  • Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) from a Govt Medical College.
• Craft Instructor:
  • H.S.L.C or Class-X passed from Govt. recognized Board or Council.
  • Certificate in Bamboo & Cane work /Tailoring/Weaving/Soap making from ITI or such other recognize Institute
• Craft Helper:
  • H.S.L.C or Class-X passed from a Govt. recognized Board or Council.
  • 1 month Certificate in Carpentry from the Industrial Training Institute or such other recognized Institute.
• Yoga Instructor & Yoga Instructress:
  • HS Passed
  • Diploma in Yoga from a recognized Institute.
• Pharmacist:
  • Diploma in Pharmacy from a Govt Medical College
  • Registration under the Assam Pharmacy Council.

Age Limit:

  • The age of the Applicant must be 20-24 years as on 01-01-2026 (i.e., Applicants born not before 01-01-2002 and not later than 01-01-2006).
• Constable (Grade-III), Bandman (Constable), Bugler, Forester Grade-I, Game Watcher & Forest Guard:
  • The age of the Applicant must be 18-40 years as on 01-01-2026 (i.e., Applicants born not before 01-01-1986 and not later than 01-01-2008).
• AFPF Constable, Constable (WO/WT), Constable (UB), Fireman & Emergency Rescuer & Boatman:

• Jail Warder:
