UPSC Recruitment 2020 Qualifications & Others Details:

  1. Medical Officer/Research Officer (Homoeopathy)

Qualification: (i) A Degree in Homoeopathy of a recognised University/ Statutory State Board/ Council or equivalent recognised under the Homoeopathic Central Council ACT, 1973 (59 of 1973).
(ii) Enrolment on the Central Register of Homoeopathy or State Register of Homoeopathy.

Pay Scale: Level-10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC. General Central Service, Group ‘A’ Gazetted, Non-Ministerial.
Age: 35 years.

  1. Assistant Engineer (Quality Assurance) (Metallurgy)

Qualification: Master’s Degree in Science in one of the subjects viz. Physics, Chemistry (Inorganic) from a recognized University OR Bachelor’s Degree in Metallurgy Engineering from a recognized University or Institute.

Pay Scale: Level-7 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC. General Central Service, Group ‘B’ Gazetted, Non-Ministerial.
Age: 30 years.

  1. Specialist Grade-III Assistant Professor (General Medicine)

Qualification: (i) A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956).
(ii) Post-Graduate Degree in the concerned specialty or super specialty mentioned in Section A of Schedule VI from recognized Teaching Institute i.e. Doctor of Medicine (Medicine); or Doctor of Medicine (General Medicine); or Diplomate National Board (Medicine/ General Medicine).

Pay Scale: Level-11 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC. Central Health Services Teaching Specialist Sub-cadre, Group ‘A’.
Age: 40 years.

  1. Specialist Grade-III Assistant Professor (Neuro Surgery)

Qualification: (i) A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956).
(ii) Post-Graduate Degree in the concerned speciality or super speciality mentioned in Section A of Schedule VI from recognized Teaching Institute i.e. Magister Chirurgie (Neuro Surgery); or Diplomate National Board (Neuro Surgery).

Pay Scale: Level-11 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC. Central Health Services Teaching Specialist Sub-cadre, Group ‘A’.
Age: 40 years.

  1. Senior Scientific Officer (Ballistics)

Qualification: Master’s degree in Physics or Mathematics or Forensic Science with Physics or Mathematics or Forensic Science as one of the subject at B.Sc. level from a recognized University or equivalent.

Pay Scale: Level-10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC. General Central Service, Group ‘A’ Gazetted, Non-Ministerial.
Age: 35 years.

  1. Senior Scientific Officer (Biology)

Qualification: Master’s Degree in Zoology or Botany or Anthropology or Life Science or Biochemistry or Microbiology or Genetics or Biotechnology or Molecular Biology or Forensic Science with Zoology or Botany or Forensic Science as one of the subject at B. Sc. Level from a recognized University.

Pay Scale: Level-10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC. General Central Service, Group ‘A’ Gazetted, Non-Ministerial.
Age: 35 years.

  1. Senior Scientific Officer (Chemistry)

Qualification: Master’s Degree in Chemistry or Toxicology or Forensic Science with Chemistry as one of the subject at B. Sc. Level from a recognized University.

Pay Scale: Level-10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC. Group ‘A’ Gazetted, Non-Ministerial.
Age: 35 years.

  1. Senior Scientific Officer (Documents)

Qualification: Master’s degree in Physics or Chemistry or Computer Science or Forensic Science with Physics or Chemistry or Forensic Science or Computer Science as one of the subjects at B.Sc. level from a recognized University or equivalent OR B.E./B.Tech in Computer Engineering or MCA/M.Sc. in Computer Science from a recognized university or equivalent.

Pay Scale: Level-10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC. General Central Service, Group ‘A’ Gazetted, Non-Ministerial.
Age: 35 years.

  1. Senior Scientific Officer (Photo)

Qualification: Graduate degree preferably in science with a diploma in photography from a recognized University/ Institution or equivalent.

Pay Scale: Level-10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC. General Central Service, Group ‘A’ Gazetted, Non-Ministerial.
Age: 35 years.

  1. Senior Scientific Officer (Physics)

Qualification: Master’s degree in Physics or Forensic Science with Physics or Forensic Science as one of the subjects at B.Sc. level from a recognized University or equivalent.

Pay Scale: Level-10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC. General Central Service, Group ‘A’ Gazetted, Non-Ministerial.
Age: 35 years.

  1. Architect (Group-A)

Qualification: (i) Degree in Architecture of a recognized University or equivalent.
(ii) Should be registered as Architect with Council of Architecture, India.

Pay Scale: Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs.7600. (Pre-revised). General Central Service, Group ‘A’ Gazetted, NonMinisterial.
Age: 40 years.
