Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit:
- Minimum Age: 35 Years
- Maximum Age: 62 Years
- Age will be calculated as of 01 January 2026.
Educational Qualification
Candidates should possess a degree in any one of the following disciplines:
- Child Psychology
- Psychiatry
- Law
- Social Work
- Sociology
- Human Health
- Education
- Human Development
- Special Education for Differently Abled Children
Preference: Candidates possessing a Postgraduate degree in the above disciplines will be given preference.
Experience
Applicants must have at least 7 years of active involvement in:
- Child Welfare
- Education
- Health
- Child Protection Activities
Important Eligibility Conditions
Applicants:
- Must belong to the district where the vacancy exists.
- Should not have any record of child rights or human rights violations.
- Should not have been convicted of any offence involving moral turpitude.
- Should not be associated with organizations receiving foreign contributions.
- Should not have any conflict of interest with Child Care Institutions or NGOs working under the Juvenile Justice Act.
Salary
Selected Chairpersons, Members and Social Workers will receive remuneration on a per-sitting basis (minimum six hours per sitting) as per the Mission Vatsalya Guidelines.
