Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess a Bachelorโs Degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Final-year students can also apply provisionally, provided they produce proof of graduation on or before 30 September 2026.

Selection Process:
Selection for SBI Probationary Officer is a three-phase process.
Phase I: Preliminary Examination:
An objective test of 100 marks conducted online, with separate timing for each section:

- Personal Interview: 30 marks
Final merit is prepared by normalising Mains marks to 75 and Phase III marks to 25, for a total of 100. Marks scored in Prelims are not counted toward the final merit list.
Salary:
The starting basic pay is โน48,480 (plus 4 advance increments) in the Junior Management Grade Scale-I pay scale of 48480-2000/7-62480-2340/2-67160-2680/7-85920. Selected candidates are also eligible for DA, HRA, CCA, PF, NPS, LFC, medical facilities, and other allowances. The approximate CTC at the Mumbai centre is around โน21.97 lakhs per annum.
