Qualification:
- For Chemical Supervisor/Research: Candidates Should Possess a Degree (Chemical Technology).
- For Metallurgical Supervisor/Research: Candidates Should Possess a Degree (Metallurgical Engineering)
- For Junior Engineer: Candidates Should Possess a Diploma or Degree (Relevant Engg)
- For Chemical and Metallurgical Assistant: Candidates Should Possess a B.Sc. Science (Physics and Chemistry)
- For Depot Material Superintendent: Candidates Should Possess a Diploma (Engg)

Application Fee:
- For all candidates, Out of this fee of Rs. 500/-, an amount of Rs. 400/- shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges, on appearing in 1st stage CBT: Rs. 500/-
- For candidates who belong to SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, Female, Transgender, Minorities, or Economically Backward Class (EBC). (Caution to Candidates: EBC should not be confused with OBC or EWS). This fee of Rs. 250/- shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges as applicable, on appearing in 1st stage CBT: Rs. 250/-
- Payment Mode: Online by using internet banking, debit/credit cards or UPI will be accepted.
- Note: Only candidates who attend the 1st stage of CBT will get a refund of their examination fee, as mentioned above.
RECRUITMENT PROCESS:
The recruitment process shall comprise of the following stages:
- 1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-I)
- 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-II)
- Document Verification (DV)
- Medical Examination (ME)
1st Stage CBT (Common for all notified posts of this CEN)
- Duration: 90 minutes (120 Minutes for eligible PwBD candidates accompanied with Scribe)
- No. of Questions: 100
Minimum percentage of marks for eligibility in various categories: UR -40%, EWS-40%, OBC-30%, SC-30%, ST -25%. These percentage of marks for eligibility may be relaxed by 2% for PwBD candidates in case of shortage of PwBD candidates against vacancies reserved for them.
2nd Stage CBT:
Short listing of Candidates for the 2nd Stage CBT exam shall be based on the normalized marks obtained by them in the 1st Stage CBT Exam.
- Duration: 120 minutes (160 Minutes for eligible PwBD candidates accompanied with Scribe)
- No of Questions: 150
