RRB JE Recruitment 2026: The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) under the Ministry of Railways, Government of India, have released the Centralised Employment Notice (CEN) No. 04/2026 for the recruitment of Junior Engineer (JE), Depot Material Superintendent (DMS), and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA) posts.

A total of 4098 vacancies have been announced across various Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs). Eligible candidates can submit their online applications from 14 August 2026 to 13 September 2026 through the official RRB websites.

Vacancy Details:

• The notification has announced approximately 4098 vacancies across all Railway Recruitment Boards.

Age Limit

As per the indicative notification:

• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age: 33 Years

Age will be calculated as on 01 January 2027.

Age relaxation will be applicable as per Government of India rules.

Educational Qualification

Candidates should possess the prescribed educational qualification for the respective posts as mentioned in the detailed notification.

Generally, applicants should hold the required Engineering Diploma/Degree or equivalent qualification relevant to the notified post.

Salary:

Selected candidates will receive salary under:

• Pay Level: Level-6 (7th CPC)
• Initial Basic Pay: ₹35,400/- per month
• Plus applicable Railway allowances as per rules.

The selection process is expected to include:

4. Medical Examination
