Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess:

  • Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University.
  • Graduation should have been completed on or after 01 January 2022.

Age Limit (As of 31 May 2026)

  • Minimum Age:ย 20 years
  • Maximum Age:ย 28 years (for General/EWS candidates as of 31/05/2026)
  • Candidates must have been born not earlier thanย May 31, 1998ย and not later thanย May 31, 2006ย (both days inclusive).

Selection Process:

Selection involves multiple stages. Candidates must clear all stages to be engaged as apprentices.

Stage 1 โ€“ Online Written Examination

The exam is an objective type, conducted by BFSI SSC. It will be takenย from the candidateโ€™s own home on their own deviceย โ€“ no admit card or examination centre is required.

  • Tie-breaking rule: if two candidates score equally, the older candidate ranks higher (in descending order of age)

Stage 2 โ€“ Test of Local Language

Candidates must be proficient (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding) in the specified official language of the state they apply for. This test is conducted after qualifying the online exam at a centre decided by the bank, at the candidateโ€™s own expense.

Candidates who have studied the specified local language at the 10th or 12th standard level (as evidenced by mark sheets) are exempt from the language test.

Stage 3 โ€“ Document Verification

Qualified candidates are called to the relevant CBI Regional/Zonal Office for verification of all original documents, including date of birth proof, graduation certificates, category certificates, and any other relevant documents.

Stage 4 โ€“ Medical Fitness Verification

Final engagement is subject to the candidate being declared medically fit by a qualified medical practitioner or MBBS doctor, as per the bankโ€™s requirements.


How to Apply:

Step 1: Visit the NATS Portal

Go to the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal:

Step 2: Register as a Student

If you are a new user:

  1. Click on โ€œStudent Registerโ€
  2. Enter your:
    • Name
    • Mobile Number
    • Email ID
    • Aadhaar Number
    • Educational Details
  3. Complete the registration process.
  4. Note down your NATS Enrollment Number.

Step 3: Log in to NATS Portal

  1. Log in using your registered credentials.
  2. Complete your profile.
  3. Upload the required documents.

Step 4: Search for Central Bank of India Apprenticeship

  1. Click on โ€œApply Against Advertised Vacanciesโ€
  2. Search for โ€œCentral Bank of Indiaโ€
  3. Select the apprenticeship opportunity.
  4. Click Apply.

Step 5: Wait for BFSI SSC Email/SMS

After successful application through NATS:
