Vice President – Project

Upper Age Limit: 53 years

Educational Qualification

Candidates should have a full-time regular Engineering Degree in:

• Chemical Engineering
• Chemical Technology
• Mechanical Engineering

A minimum of 60% marks is required.

Experience

The candidate should have substantial experience in executing large-scale fertilizer, petrochemical or refinery projects, preferably involving ammonia and urea plants using natural gas-based and internationally proven technologies.

The role involves leadership across contract award, engineering, procurement, construction, erection, commissioning and plant stabilization. Candidates should have experience in positions such as Project Head, General Manager, Site Head, Plant Head or Business Unit Head and in areas including project leadership, PMC oversight, EPC/LSTK contracts, engineering coordination, construction/site execution and regulatory compliance.

Additional Chief Manager – Contract & Material

Upper Age Limit: 44 years

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess any one of the following:

• Full-time regular Engineering Degree in any specialization with minimum 60% marks, or
• Full-time regular MBA in Materials Management with a minimum of 60% marks, or
• Full-time PG Diploma in Materials Management with minimum 60% marks, provided it is a 2-year regular course recognized as equivalent to MBA by UGC/AICTE.

Experience

Candidates should have experience in end-to-end material procurement and contract management, including:

• Tendering
• Contract administration
• Vendor management
• Purchase orders
• Inventory control
• Stores and logistics
• Contract closure
• SAP/ERP systems
• MIS preparation
• E-procurement and e-tendering
• GeM
• Government procurement policies
• CVC guidelines

Knowledge of GST, customs regulations, import management, value engineering, spare parts control, price negotiations and contract amendments is also required. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in fertilizer, petrochemical or chemical industries in PSU/Government organizations.

Age Limit

The upper age limits are:

• Vice President: 53 years
• Additional Chief Manager: 44 years

Age and post-qualification experience will be calculated as on 30 June 2026.

For the Additional Chief Manager post, a 5-year age relaxation is available for candidates from PSUs/JVs of the fertilizer industry.

Salary / Pay Scale

AVFCCL offers an industry-oriented compensation package.

In addition to basic pay, the package includes IDA, HRA, cafeteria perks, superannuation benefits and applicable location-based allowance. Medical insurance coverage is also provided for employees and dependent family members over and above CTC.

Educational Qualification – Important Instructions

All qualifications should be obtained from recognized Indian universities/institutes approved by UGC, AICTE or the appropriate statutory authority. Foreign qualifications require an equivalence certificate.

The qualifying degree/diploma must be full-time and regular. Candidates possessing qualifications through distance learning mode are not eligible.

Work Experience Requirements

Work experience must be acquired after obtaining the relevant educational qualification and should be relevant executive experience.

Teaching, part-time jobs, apprenticeship, internship and articleship are not counted as qualifying work experience.

Candidates currently working in PSUs/Government organizations are required to submit an NOC from their present employer/HOD.
