Educational Qualification

1. Chauffeur (Driver)

Candidates must have:

  • Passed Class X (HSLC) from a recognized Board.
  • Possess a valid LMV Driving Licence.
  • Valid Employment Exchange Registration Number in Assam.

2. Multi Tasking Staff (MTS)

Candidates must:

  • Have passed Class VIII (8th Standard).
  • Candidates who have passed HSSLC (Class 12) or above are NOT eligible.
  • Must possess a valid Employment Exchange Registration Number in Assam.

Candidates possessing special skills may be given preference if required.

Selection Process

Chauffeur (Driver)

Stage-I

  • Written Examination (50 Marks)
    • Road Signs
    • General Knowledge
    • Assamese Language (Qualifying)

Stage-II

  • Driving Test (40 Marks)
  • Interview/Viva-Voce (20 Marks)
  • Document Verification

Final merit will be prepared based on the Driving Test and Interview marks after qualifying all stages.


Multi Tasking Staff (MTS)

Stage-I

Written Examination (70 Marks)

Subjects include:

  • General Knowledge
  • Current Affairs
  • General English
  • General Mathematics (Class VIII Level)
  • Assamese Language (Qualifying)

Stage-II

  • Interview/Viva-Voce (20 Marks)

Final selection will be based on the written test and Interview marks.
