Eligibility Criteria

Warden cum Superintendent – Sociology

Candidates must have a Master’s Degree in Sociology with B.Ed from an NCTE-recognized institute and should be Higher Secondary TET qualified.

Preference: Experience in teaching UP/HS/HSS level.

If Higher Secondary TET-qualified candidates are not available, non-TET candidates with the required educational qualification may be considered.

Head Teacher – English

Candidates must have a Master’s Degree in English with B.Ed from an NCTE-recognized institute and should be Higher Secondary TET qualified.

Preference: Experience in teaching UP/HS/HSS level.

Full-Time Assistant Teacher

Candidates must have a Master’s Degree in the concerned subject with B.Ed from an NCTE-recognized institute and should be Higher Secondary TET qualified.

Subjects include:

• Economics
• Geography
• Mathematics
• Assamese
• Sociology
• Anthropology
• Physics
• Chemistry

Preference: Experience in teaching UP/HS/HSS level.

If Higher Secondary TET-qualified candidates are not available, non-TET candidates may be considered.

Age Limit

Candidates must be below 45 years as of 01 January 2026.

Age Relaxation

Relaxation in the upper age limit will be applicable for SC, ST(P), ST(H), OBC and PH candidates as per the Government of Assam rules.

Reservation

All positions are reserved for female candidates only.

The selected candidates for Warden cum Superintendent, Head Teacher and Full-Time Assistant Teacher will have to reside in the KGBV school campus, except during vacation.

Selection Process

The selection process will be conducted through:

3. Interview

Shortlisted candidates must appear in the Verification cum Interview with original copies of certificates, marksheets, experience documents and other relevant documents.

Important Terms and Conditions

• No separate call letter will be issued.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
• The engagement is purely temporary and contractual.
• Selected candidates will have to sign an agreement for 11 months.
• One candidate can apply for only one post.
• Non-TET candidates, if selected, must qualify for the Higher Secondary TET within 3 consecutive Higher Secondary TET examinations.
• Candidates with a CGPA must submit both sides of the marksheet along with the university’s conversion formula from CGPA to percentage.
