Eligibility Criteria:

A. Nationality & Domicile

Candidates must be Indian citizens and original inhabitants of Assam. Candidates must be registered with a District Employment Office of Assam (Employment Exchange Registration is mandatory).

B. Language Proficiency

Candidates must be able to speak and understandย Assameseย or any other official, associate official, or tribal language of the State of Assam, as recognised under the relevant language rules.

C. Educational Qualification

Candidates must hold a Bachelorโ€™s Degree from a recognized University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India. Candidates in the final year of graduation may apply provisionally, subject to producing the degree certificate before the Mains Examination.

D. Small Family Norms

Candidates must submit a declaration inย Form A regarding โ€œThe Small Family Normsโ€ย at the time of application. Failure to submit this declaration may result in rejection of the application.

The Preliminary Examination will be held across 35+ centres spread across all district headquarters of Assam. Key centres include:
