Eligibility Criteria:
Qualification & Experience:
- The candidates must possess the minimum educational qualification of Class VIII standard passed, and those who have passed HSSLC or above shall not be eligible to apply for the said post. Preference will be given to the candidates who are working in this establishment as casual, contingent and wage employees.
Age Limit:
- Age will be a minimum of 18 years, and a maximum of as per the Govt. of Assam Notification. Age will be counted as on 01-01-2026.
Selection Process:
- The selection process will comprise an interview/viva voce (50 marks for each member).
How to Apply:
- Candidates must submit, along with the application form, self-attested copies of relevant testimonials/certificates, 3(three) recent passport-size photographs, out of which one photograph must be pasted on the application. However, candidates have to produce their original testimonials regarding educational qualifications, date of birth, caste, and working experience at subsequent stages when asked to do so.
- The envelope containing the application should be superscribed- โApplication for the post of โPeonโ.
- Candidates who are already in Government Service (Central/State/PSU) may apply through the proper channel. They shall have to produce a โNo Objection Certificateโ from the present employer along with the application form.
- Candidates shall submit a self-declaration regarding their educational qualification stating that โI have not passed HSSLC or equivalent examination and I shall be liable for criminal prosecution for submission/detection of my false educational qualification.โ
