DC Lakhimpur Recruitment 2026: The Office of the District Commissioner, Lakhimpur has released an official recruitment advertisement for the engagement of a Coordinator (FRA) and MIS/Program (FRA) Associate under the District Level Forest Rights Act (FRA) Cell. A total of 2 vacancies are available, and the appointments will be made on a purely contractual basis for 11 months.

Educational Qualification:

Co-ordinator (FRA)

Candidates applying for the Co-ordinator (FRA) post should have:

• Master’s degree in Social Science / Social Work.
• Knowledge of basic IT / Computer Applications.
• Minimum 5 years of domain experience in Rural Development or Tribal Welfare is preferred.
• Age should not exceed 35 years.

MIS/Program (FRA) Associate

Candidates applying for the MIS/Program (FRA) Associate post should possess:

• B.Sc. / BA in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or Social Science from a reputed institution.
• Minimum Diploma in Information Technology (IT) / Computer Applications.
• Minimum 2 years of domain experience in large-scale data processing and management.
• Age should not exceed 35 years.

Age Limit:

The age of candidates must not exceed 35 years as of 1 January 2026.

Additional Eligibility Conditions

Candidates should also fulfil the following requirements:

• Must be well-versed in computers, including MS Office.
• Knowledge of Assamese typing is required.
• Must possess a valid Employment Exchange Registration Certificate of Assam.
• Must be an Indian citizen.
• Preference will be given to applicants having prior experience in Government schemes/projects related to Tribal Welfare, Rural Development, MIS management, data handling or implementation of the Forest Rights Act.

Selection Process:

Candidates will be shortlisted by the competent authority. Shortlisted applicants will be called for an Interview/Test through official notification or communication.

No TA/DA will be provided for attending the selection process.
